Last year’s best of 2005 stayed in my shuffle for ages, so I was excited to hear the news: Best of Bootie 2006 is ready for download. My personal fave is the Sexy Peek-a-boo mix with Justin Timberlake vs. Siouxie and the Banshees. Other bonus tracks are available, so I will be checking those out as well.

The music news website Paper Thin Walls is offering a free mixtape for the holidays; I’m downloading it right now and will mix this in with my Christmas music collection.

Been relaxing after a Christmas party on Friday, chilling and listening to DJ Riko’s Mixmas 2006 to get us into a holiday spirit. Also of note: djBC’s Santastic II project and, to sound out the ‘bah humbug’ in each and every one of us, Appropriate Christmas.
