Ho ho ho, elections are around the corner in Ukraine and the crapstorm is flying already…someone posted outtakes from the Kharkov Mayor’s set of adverts. Russian students will learn some new and exciting words with this one:
17.05.07 With the new spring-time inspiration , I decided to take pictures of simply beautiful people, irony aside. Boys also make it to some of my shots, although it’s still about devushkas. (‘Girls’ in Russian -me)
This showed up recently on ArtLebedev, the #1 web design studio in Russia:
Basically, it reads BYE NOKIA! Studio Lebedev is cancelling its contract with Nokia. They fuckin’ got to us. Only Lebedev can pull this off, giving the client the finger and burn the bridge, and telling everyone else in Russia that Nokia is a hard client to work with, making their life (on the RuWeb, anyway) more difficult in the future.
This of course got out on the web, and the merry pranksters that follow Lebedev around made up a couple more slogans. I like this one the best through this livejournal thread, ho ho ho:
Many of you may have read about the ‘Kremlin Valentine‘ produced in Russian on LiveJournal this February; now Livejournal user supehero has done it again with the ‘Kremlin Eight’. The premise is: what if all the G8 leaders had livejournal accounts? Read the hilariousness (in Russian) here.
